Startup Creasphere Expo Day Recap: AI in Action
At Roche Rotkreuz, industry experts and startups showcased AI-driven healthcare innovations, shaping the future of digital health.
Established by Roche in 2018, Startup Creasphere was the first digital health-focused innovation program in Munich. We connect startups and scaleups with Roche to pilot their technology and drive new digital health solutions. The proven initial concept has built the ground for the global expansion of Startup Creasphere. Over time, we have developed from a program with specific locations to a globally integrated program, offering participating startups a well-organized co-creation framework for their time-boxed cooperations with Roche, as well as mentoring and networking opportunities around the world.
Established by Roche and Plug and Play in 2018, Startup Creasphere was the first digital health focused innovation program in Munich. We connect startups and scaleups with industry-leading corporate partners to pilot their technology and drive new digital health solutions. The proven concept from Munich has built the ground for the global expansion and the Startup Creasphere programs in Singapore and the Silicon Valley. Over time, we have developed from a program with three locations to a globally integrated program, offering participating startups a well-organized co-creation framework for their time-boxed cooperations with corporations (in so-called batches) as well as mentoring and networking opportunities around the world.
Leveraging our ongoing global scouting activities, we run a selection process to nominate the best startups for our corporate partner’s focus areas before each batch.
Every batch starts with a kick-off event where the newly selected startups present their pitches, get to know the other participants and have first project meetings with their corporate pilot owner.
Over the course of the batch, startups and pilot owners meet during 3 deep dive for updates on the pilot projects. Startups get coaching and mentoring sessions with industry experts.
At the end of the 3-month program, the startups and their pilot owners present the results of their co-creation at the Expo Day event.
