Expo Day Batch 5: Inspiring pitches and new partners mark 3-year anniversary of the program

11 Roche Startups from 8 countries, 30+ mentors / coaches and 10+ customer feedback sessions: Three years after kicking off the Startup Creasphere program in Munich, Batch 5 was a great demonstration of how rapidly and successfully the digital health accelerator program founded by Roche and Plug and Play has grown. On February 4, more than 300 attendees celebrated the 3-year anniversary and the achievements of all startups and their pilot owners during Expo Day. Featuring a main stage, open networking tables, live event scribbling and live music, the virtual event space built the perfect stage for the startups and participants from all over the globe.

Two new corporate partners shared their perspectives on open innovation and their expectations from joining the Startup Creasphere ecosystem: Novo Nordisk is an established global player in the Diabetes market, who has already partnered with Roche Diabetes Care on various occasions. Via Startup Creasphere they want to accelerate their external innovation through startup collaborations. Biotronik hopes to leverage partnerships with startups and further partners. With 90% of data currently remaining unused, they want to better explore the potential of the large number of cardiac patient data their active implants gather on a daily basis.
